About U17's - Junior Colts Team
About UsWe are one of the smaller squads in Wymondham with about 28 registered players. We train every Wednesday evening from 19:00 - 21:00 and either train or play on a Sunday morning, training taking place at Tuttle Lane from 10:00 - 12:00 and games being played around the County arrival on pitch to start warm up at 10:00, with games generally starting at 11:00.
Remember the weather can be changeable, we train in most weathers so be prepared to bring waterproofs and warm gear on occassions.
We have an inclusive policy and aim for everyone who attends games to play (we are limited to a squad of 22 in cup games), we aim to help every player to improve and enjoy their rugby and are delighted that we have had several players represent Norfolk, Eastern Counties, and attend EPDG, Leicester and next season England training programs.
We are constantly improving and have reached the final of the Norfolk Cup in the last 2 seasons, despite that improvement we are never complacent and always strive to improve, players are expected to excel in their own position and at times learn to play in positions that they would never normally consider which whilst always being educational can also provide lots of laughs for everyone.
We are always happy for new players of any ability to join us, you may well be surprised at how well you do.
