Very strong winds diagonally across the pitch and in favour of Diss in the first half. Diss kicked off and put the ball deep into the Wymondham half for a line out. Knowing that Diss had a few strong strike runners and a strong kicking game the Trojans knew their game plan would have to be a strong rucking game with all players needed to make this happen. With end to end play for a lot of the first half both teams were finding it hard to break the defence. With a couple of quick pick and drives and then quite hands saw Miles White in a 1 on 1 down the touch line with his opposite man. Beating him on the outside for pace Miles was tap tackled by the covering defence and just brought down in to touch 5 meters out from the try line. With just minutes to go before half time Diss cleared their line with a mid field kick collected by their centre only for Wymondham to turn the ball over and with a break from Lee Monk who was brought down just short of the line setting up a ruck for Liam Potter to crash over to score a close range try. Conversion by Lee Monk.

 Half time 7-0

 Having to make one enforced change in 2^nd row, Tom Smith in  his second game back from breaking his wrist had played really well but taken a knock in the back. Wymondham restarted the game with the wind at the backs. The second half was much like the 1^st with the forwards taking control of the break down and keeping Diss pinned in their own half for long periods. Again from a turn over and strong running from the forwards down the left side of the pitch Wymondham showed they were back to their best form and powered deep in to the 22 for Oil Colman to crash over for Wymondhams second try. Conversion Lee Monk 14-0. Bring on the rest of the subs for fresh legs Wymondham put the pressure straight back on Diss and after pinning the down in to the 22 after a couple of penalties Diss knocked the Ball on for a Scrum to Wymondham. Charlie Row Picked the ball up from the back of the scrum and out paced the defence on the narrow side to score in the corner. Conversion just going wide. With a clean take at the restarted by Danny Griffin Wymondham didn’t relax and took it straight back deep in to the Diss half for Charlie to score his second try. Conversion again just going wide. All credit to Diss for not giving up and from a quick recycled ball they finally broke throw the Wymondham Defence and score the last try of the game. Conversion just being pulled across the front of the posts.
