Wymondham made a strong start and quickly got into their stride, establishing a strong platform in the forwards and showing some good running and passing skills in the backs. The first score was a well worked try won, by the forwards, moved along the backs and allowed Christian to score a good try in the corner. This was quickly followed by another try on the other wing, scored by Brayden to give Wymondhan a quick early platform.

Wymondham continued to dominate with good work in the loose by the back row and some strong running by amongst others- Gregor.

Try three was a supurb individual effort from Sam Carding who caught the ball from a kick off and broke through the Norwich line to score. Two more tries were scored by Wymondham as a result of good support play and strong running, scorers were laurie and Jake. This took the score to a very creditable and deserved- 27-0 at half time.

Wymondham continued to dominate in the second half but did not have it all theigh own way. Norwich fought back bravely and were unlucky not to score a try of their own. Wymondham did not help themselves with a bit of indiscipline, giving several penalties away. However, Wymondham recovered themselves and rallied to score 3 more tries, two from strong runs from Toby S. and one from a 5m scrum allowing Hamish to muscle his way over.

The final score was 8 tries, 2 converted (by Ben) giving Wymondham a convincing victory. MVP was Alex Tonnison for his solid tackling and all round good play.

All players not listed below are also expected to attend as a full training session will be run by Direcctor of Rugby, Andy Lyle with Ben, Bill giving input for backs & forwards respectively. From this and the sessions next week players will be selected for the forthcoming cup matches.
