The requirement from the squad from this game was Teamwork.
The game was played in superb conditions on a perfect pitch at Wymondham. Swafham played with a squad with a fair number of players new to the game, a team whose collective head never went down despite Wymondham dominating possession and territory.
The Wymondham pack recycled good quality ball for numerous phases of attack. Allowing the half backs the time to excellent decisions in terms of using the ball. Both forwards and backs scored tries, the most encouraging feature being that there was always someone in support looking to take the ball on!!!(a tick in the Teamwork box)
Highlights included an all new centre combination of Braydon and Jonathan, Oliver Coleman finally hitting top speed, Jack Masters ‘sea-side shuffle’ , James Whites hot knife through butter routine, the Sawafham full backs incredible tackling, and the skipper, Charlie Rowe demonstrating what commitment really means and picking up the MVP !
Well done boys.
