But what is Safeguarding?
Safeguarding is concerned with ensuring the safety and wellbeing of players, coaches and spectators involved with rugby. The Club Safeguarding Officer attends Playing Commitee Meetings and Management Meetings as required to ensure Safeguarding Issues are dealt with appropriately. Below are a number of key documents concerned with Safeguarding:
